DIY Envelope Liners

Tuesday, September 6, 2016

I am officially back from my blogging hiatus! There has been so much happening this year and writing and editing photos really got away from me. Wedding planning has pretty much taken up my entire last year. I wanted to design all of my own invites (of course) and add my own special touch to everything so I only have myself to blame! Ha!

When designing my own Save the Date invites I wanted to do a FABULOUS envelope liner. I found the perfect Rifle Paper Company wrapping paper that matched my royal blue envelopes. I also purchased this envelope liner template kit which made everything easy peasy.

 1. Trace appropriate size envelope liner on the back of the wrapping paper.

2. Cut out traced liners.

3. Insert

4. Fold envelope while holding liner in place. I used a boning tool to get a proper fold.

5. Tape liner to flap using double sided tape. This tape gun is amazing and so easy to use!

Of course, if you don't have time to make your own envelope liners they are available for purchase in my Etsy Shop!
